This healthy weight calculator takes in input your current height, weight, and weight loss rate per week, and tells you the healthy weight range according to the Body Mass Index (BMI) tables, as well as when you’ll reach a healthy weight.
The weight loss rate you set can be your current rate or your planned weight loss rate. If you are underweight and trying to gain weight, set your weight loss rate as a negative (e.g., -1).
IMPORTANT: While BMI is a valid measure for the majority of the population, it doesn’t account for muscle and fat composition. For example, athletes, pregnant women, children, and the elderly might be categorized incorrectly.
